Minister of Constitution and Law Hon. Ambassador Dr. Today, August 09, 2024, Pindi Chana visited and inspected the registration exercise and provided birth certificates to children under the age of five at St. Gemma, Makole Health Center and Kikuyu Clinic in Dodoma.

During the visit, Minister Chana asked the citizens to ensure that their children are registered and given birth certificates immediately after delivery before they are allowed to return home.

"Citizens, especially my fellow mothers, our Government led by the Hon. President Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan has brought you this service of free birth certificates for our children, so this is an opportunity for you because these certificates will help them get medical care through health insurance, later education and employment." He said.

Also Minister Hon. Ambassador Dr. Pindi Chana handed over the birth certificates to some of the mothers who gave birth safely and were discharged in those treatment centers.

Speaking on behalf of the women who were receiving the service Mrs. Halima Abdallah has thanked the Government for bringing the service to them and promised to be an ambassador for educating relatives, friends and neighbors about the availability of the service and the importance of birth certificates for children.
